What is Nissan ProPILOT Assist®?

Nissan ProPILOT Assist® is the brand’s range of advanced driver assistance and semi-autonomous driving technologies. Equipped on select models, ProPILOT Assist® uses a combination of cameras, radar sensors, sonar technology and pre-loaded map data to aid drivers in their day-to-day commutes.

ProPILOT Assist®

Nissan ProPILOT Assist® combines the brand’s Intelligent Cruise Control system and Steering Assist technology to deliver a comfortable and hassle-free highway driving experience. Simply set your desired speed and follow distance and your Nissan will automaticaly modulate the brakes and throttle throttle input so that youcan focus on steering.

ProPILOT Assist® 1.1

ProPILOT Assist 1.1 ups the ante as it adds lane centering and speed limit detection capabilities to your Nissan. Vehicles equipped with ProPILOT Assist® 1.1 can automatically adjust your pre-set speed according to the posted speed limit and uses steering wheel vibrations to alert you if you’re veering out of your lane.

For an even more intelligent drive, ProPILOT Assist® with Navi-link takes it one step further, using front-mounted cameras to read the road ahead. Whether you’re driving through a curve or entering a highway on-ramp, the vehicle automatically stays centred in your lane, and can even slow down if necessary.
