With the 2024 Nissan GT-R, visceral performance doesn’t mean giving up cabin comfort. In fact, the vehicle’s semi-aniline leather-appointed front seats with synthetic suede inserts coddle you in comfort while keeping you securely in place during bouts of spirited driving. Plus, their eight-way power adjustability and heated functionally provide superior comfort, no matter the conditions outside.
Active Acoustics
Nissan engineers designed the interior of the GT-R with a focus on ensuring that only the sounds that you want to hear make it inside the cabin. Whether it’s your favourite tunes playing through the vehicle’s Bose® Premium Audio System, or the phenomenal engine note of the twin-turbo V6, the GT-R is equipped with active and passive sound technologies designed to reduce unwanted noise. These include:
- Active Noise Cancellation: microphones throughout the cabin monitors exterior noise and actively eliminates unwanted sounds from entering the interior.
- Active Sound Enhancement: enhances the GT-R’s engine sound and directs it into the cabin.
- Active Noise Reduction: noise dampening technology throughout the vehicle including a special acoustic windshield, sound-absorbing material behind the instrument panel, above the rear wheel wells and on the trunk floor.

The 2024 Nissan GT-R is powered by a hand-built, twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6. Precision-engineered and assembled by one of five Takumi master craftsmen, the GT-R’s engine is a mechanical work of art, built with optimal strength and power generation at the top of mind. With an IHI® turbocharger mounted on each bank of the engine, this twin-turbo V6 generates an impressive 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque, modulated by a quick-shifting 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

This performance-oriented drivetrain sends up to 100% of the available torque to the rear wheels, and can even redirect up to 50% of the power to the front wheels, when on driving slippery road conditions.

Technology
Performance Drive Modes
When you step inside the GT-R’s cabin, you’ll see a whole host of buttons and switches that are reminiscent of an airplane cockpit. Some of the most exciting switches on the GT-R centre console array are its three drive mode switches that allow you to adjust the vehicle’s performance parameters on the fly. These modes include:
- Normal Mode: ideal for daily commutes, Normal mode sets up the vehicle’s driving dynamics to deliver a smooth and refined ride.
- R-Mode: designed for maximum performance, R-Mode delivers lightning fast shifts, stiffens the suspensions system, and readies the Vehicle Dynamic Control system for spirited driving.
- Special Modes: consists of Save-, Comfort- and Off-mode; an efficiency-oriented mode ideal for long-distance drives, a mode that dampens the suspension system for optimal comfort, and a mode that shuts off the vehicle’s Vehicle Dynamic Control system for the most visceral drive possible
Bose® Premium Audio System
When you’re not listening to the GT-R’s sweet twin-turbo V6 engine note, enjoy the ability to jam out to your favourite tunes through the vehicle’s Bose® Premium Audio System.
